Brest State Technical University (BrSTU) is one of largest scientific and educational centers in the western part of Belarus. The University conducts fundamental research and enables training in the areas of construction, architecture, IT, mechanical engineering, economy and ecology.
In almost 50 years since establishment BrSTU has changed from a civil engineering institute to one of the largest regional schools of technical learning providing 27 undergraduate programmes, 15 graduate programmes and 14 graduate programmes.
Having inherited best traditions of Soviet Union higher education, Belarusian universities, BrSTU including, provide traditionally strong theoretical knowledge with integrated practical training and research to their students making them multidimensional specialists with broad outlook.
The fact that majority programmes offered by Brest State Technical University are delivered in the Russian language is a positive aspect. Learning Russian opens the door for excellent career and business opportunities as this language is spoken by more than 500 million people in the world.
Besides, BrSTU offers four undergraduate, two graduate and three postgraduate programmes, with English as a medium of instruction.

The Training was held under the Erasmus+ Project “Library Network Support Services (LNSS): modernising libraries in Armenia, Moldova and Belarus through library staff development and reforming library services”.
The summer school, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) will start with visits to European Institutions in Strasburg, followed by llectures and presentations in Essen and last from 22.08. - 31.08.2016.

On the 2 June, 2014 a group of Chinese students with their supervisor had a nice trip. We visited castles of Mir and Nesvizh. The trip was exciting and full of positive emotions. We enjoyed the beauty of Belarusian nature and the old architecture.
