 The Department of Physical Training and Sports (PTSD) is the academic department that oversees the physical development programme at Brest State Technical University.

The Department believes that physical education fosters an improved quality of life. So, the aim of the Department is to promote physical activity, exercise and sports for the students of BrSTU. To satisfy the students’ interest the PTSD turns to various activity modes from academic classes to fitness and health recreation events and club activity.

Five Doctors and more than 150 Masters of Sports have worked at the Department since its foundation year. The university sports teams successfully participate in the students’ Republican competitions.

Experienced coachers provide students with full support in arm wrestling, basketball, table tennis, indoor soccer, handball, volleyball, judo, karate, aerobic, kick-boxing, tourism, chess, swimming.

2nd International Conference on Current Research Problems of Materials, Structures, Technologies and Organization of Civil Engineering in Cross-Border Approach will be held in BrSTU

The English for Specific Purposes Training took place in BrSTU on May, 12th-13th, 2016.

The Training was held under the Erasmus+ Project “Library Network Support Services (LNSS): modernising libraries in Armenia, Moldova and Belarus through library staff development and reforming library services”.

DAAD invites applications for a summer school in Essen

The summer school, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)  will start with visits to European Institutions in  Strasburg, followed by llectures and presentations in Essen and last from 22.08. - 31.08.2016.

Application deadline: 05.02.2016.

Working language is English.
