The Competition of Mobile Robots “Roborace” Will Be Held in BrSTU

Ten teams from six European countries are going to take part in the competition of self-inclusive mobile robots RoboRace in the framework of “The Week of RoboTechnics” in BrSTU (November 4 – 9). The participants are coming from Russia, Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

RoboRace is being held in BrSTU for the third time. However, it is the first time when BrSTU will host the “The Week of RoboTechnics”.  The key goal of this event is to promote scientific and technical creativity among young people.

The event programme is divided into three sections:

  • November 4 – 6: international research-to-practice conference on artificial intelligence. The conference is open for visitors. the working language is English.
  • November 7 – 8: student’s workshops on current  problems of robotechnics.
  • Saturday, November 9: traditional competition of mobile robots «RoboRace Brest 2013».

The event is organized by the student’s scientific research laboratory “RoboTechnics”. The laboratory has been operationg since 2010 and nowadays it is the leading robotics laboratory in Belarus.

2nd International Conference on Current Research Problems of Materials, Structures, Technologies and Organization of Civil Engineering in Cross-Border Approach will be held in BrSTU

Important Dates:
• Registration and Abstract Submission: June 1, 2017
• Notification of Abstract Acceptance and Full Paper Requirements: July 1, 2017
• Full Paper Submission: August 1, 2017
• Notification of Full Paper Acceptance: August 10, 2017
• Opening of a Conference: October 18, 2017

The English for Specific Purposes Training took place in BrSTU on May, 12th-13th, 2016.

The Training was held under the Erasmus+ Project “Library Network Support Services (LNSS): modernising libraries in Armenia, Moldova and Belarus through library staff development and reforming library services”.

DAAD invites applications for a summer school in Essen

The summer school, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)  will start with visits to European Institutions in  Strasburg, followed by llectures and presentations in Essen and last from 22.08. - 31.08.2016.

Application deadline: 05.02.2016.

Working language is English.
